Marcus W. Moses is a MD/MPH student at Tulane University School of Medicine and School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, concentrating in Epidemiology, from Marietta, GA who currently resides in New Orleans, LA. Marcus is an alum of Xavier University of Louisiana (Class ’15) where he received his B.S. in Biology (Chemistry minor). Subsequently, he received his M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. Currently, Marcus is the president of Tulane’s Student National Medical Association chapter and chair of Tulane’s Liaison Committee on Racial & Social Justice in Medical Education. Marcus’ clinical interests reside in chronic disease management either hoping to specialize in medical oncology or cardiology. Additionally, he is a passionate researcher with publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Oncotarget and scholarly presentations at the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
